City has added a new 13" Deluxe Planer (Model 40200) to their line. The
features packed into this machine are setting new standards in its
class
The
entire head travels on four corner lead screws which enhance rigidity
and insure parallel cuts with greatly reduced snipe. Oversized in feed
and out feed tables support the largest work pieces and fold up for
storage or transport.
Steel City's 13" Planer features a
quick change, double sided, three-knife cutterhead for fast and
accurate blade changes. The two-speed gearbox allows for fast removal
and fine finish planning to offer a 30% increase in cut per inch finish.
An
easy to read inch metric scale is mounted on the front along with a
depth of cut indicator and an eight position turret depth stop for fast
repetitive cutting.
The
Steel City Planer also includes a blade wrench, magnetic knife holder,
dust chute, and 4" dust port as well as the Steel City 5 Year Warranty.
