Steel City Awards Saw Dust Café Winner

Steel City recently awarded The Saw Dust Café winner with their signature 10" Deluxe Titanium Saw (Model 35630).

Don Breyer won the grand prize at the recent WoodWorks Event show in Ontario, CA, with his sideboard. He used figured cherry and birch crafted with solid wood and sawn veneer.

Breyer said that he owes a lot to the Cerritos Community College where he learned the finer art of woodworking.

The WoodWorks Gallery competition displays local woodworking talent, judged by a panel of well-known woodworking experts. Work was judged on the basis of overall craftsmanship, degree of difficulty and design. Prizes and ribbons were awarded in five different categories — furniture, accessories, decorative, turning, and scrolled work.
